The main aim of the Learning and Skills Network is to promote a learning culture in the voluntary and community sector and to improve access to learning opportunities for volunteers, paid workforce and individuals in the community.

It exists to

  • Share information about learning opportunities for the sector
  • Strengthen learning related links between voluntary and community sector organisations
  • Connect the sector with other relevant organisations/partnerships

 From the Co-ordinator, July 2007

Nhys Glover has been appointed Learning & Skills Manager. She will lead on subregional and regional strategies to ensure the needs of the sector are included.

Georgina Turton is back from maternity leave. We thank Rachel Benson for all the work she has done over the last 6 months.
